We're facing attacks at every level - from the Trump administration's dangerous Title X changes to local county commission that voted to close a Planned Parenthood health center. Will you join us in the fight for reproductive rights and access to health care? Check out this toolkit to learn how you can take action and power change in your community.
Stop the Lies. Stop the Bans. Anti-choice extremists in the Michigan state house and senate are pushing bills with no medical basis that block patients from accessing abortion. Tell them to stop the lies, stay in their lane, and leave decisions about your medical care to you and your doctor. Click here to contact the committee members considering the bans.
Fight for Birth Control Women's preventive care — including birth control — is basic health care. This shouldn't be a revolutionary idea, but unfortunately, it is to some, and in the past few years, birth control has become increasingly politicized. Click here to learn how you can join the fight for birth control.
Stand up for Sex Education Everyone deserves quality sex education. But too few young people get it because a patchwork of inconsistent laws and policies makes access to it inequitable. Click here to learn more about sex education and how you can power change in your community.
Attend Another Event Want to hang out with us again? Cool! From sex trivia, to book clubs, to DIY menstrual pad workshops, to town halls we have an event for you! Check out our Facebook page or website to find an event near you (and bring your friends)!
Join a Legislative Action Team Our Legislative Action Teams (LATs) are a new program for advocacy volunteers who want to work directly with elected officials from their voting districts and build relationships with those officials through face-to-face meetings, emails, and phone calls. This will allow us to build relationships with elected officials and develop trained teams of volunteers who will highlight the work of our champions and hold accountable the politicians who seek to undermine access to reproductive and sexual health. To learn more about our current Legislative Action Team opportunities, please email ppam@ppmi.org to be connected with your local Community Organizer.
Share your Story Storytelling is a powerful organizing tool that helps us connect with others, identify shared values, and show the human impact of policy decisions. Are you ready to unleash the power of your story? Click here to share your story.*
