5. Volunteer with Planned Parenthood

6. Attend a rally or other activist event
Our rights and access to health care are under attack. Stand up and make your voice heard by attending a rally or other activist event. You can find upcoming events on our Facebook page and the front page of our website.
7. Hold your elected officials accountable
Elected officials work for you! Hold them accountable by attending their coffee hours, town halls, and giving them a call when the issues you care about are up for a vote. 8. Join a Readers Resist book club
Brush up on your activist literature and make new friends by joining a Readers Resist book club near you! We currently have book clubs running in Detroit and Grand Rapids. 9. Share your story
Your voice and your story are powerful. By sharing it, you can make people feel less alone, help others understand your experience and perspective, put a face to policy issues, and even influence history!
